Choose the right format
Use motion and simulation where they remove uncertainty.
A short video can make a process easier to remember. A guided simulation can let someone practise a product task without risking real data. Neither format helps when it is longer or more complicated than the work itself.
I start with the action people need to take, then choose the simplest visual treatment that makes it clear.
From idea to delivery
The story and the build stay connected.
Script and storyboard
The message, visuals, pacing, and learner action are agreed before production begins.
Visual development
Animation and screen practice support the explanation without becoming decoration.
Accessible media
Captions, transcripts, audio choices, controls, and surrounding instructions are considered as part of delivery.
Course or standalone use
The final piece can support a course, launch communication, knowledge base, or focused practice experience.
Relevant example
